Dementia Club UK is not required to appoint a data controller or data protection officer (Article 30 para 5 of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679).
We collect personal information (e.g. name, address, email, telephone number & date of birth) when you become a member of Dementia Club UK. This may be in the form of emails, letters, phone calls and the completion of forms (electronic or otherwise). We use personal information to contact you by post, telephone or email. We will also keep a register of names who are present in a club session for fire safety or other emergencies. We will never sell or disclose any information you provide to us to any third party. Your electronic information and paper records are held securely.
If you object to this processing and no longer wish to be a member of Dementia Club UK you may ask for your personal data to be removed from the membership list at any time by writing or emailing us, see our contact page. You have the right to seek confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data (Article 15 of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679).
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data created when you visit a website and stored on your computer's hard disk. Cookies do not harm your computer.

Log files are maintained by our Internet hosting service , and allow us to record visitors' use of the site. Log files do not contain any personal information. Log file information is combined from all our visitors, and is used for statistical purposes.

We will endeavour to ensure that this website is available 24 hours a day, however we reserve the right to suspend or cancel this site at any time. We also cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to technical or other reasons outside of our control.
